Cranapple
This is the Saunders seedling known for many years among hybridizers as simply Saunders F2A although Silvia Saunders also called it ‘Cranapple’. It was recently introduced by Solaris Farms. It is a valuable plant for breeding but has a place in the display garden as well.
The lower photo was taken at Solaris Farms, Reedsville, Wisconsin.
