There is no shortage of yellow among the Saunders woody peonies.\u00a0 What sets this one apart is the distinct star shaped pattern of the red flares. With its cardinal and gold coloration t<\/span>his one could be adopted by the Iowa State Cyclones.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is in the lineage of ‘Urania’ (Daphnis, 1995) but in this case, I think the original might be the finer plant. William Gratwick noted it as a pretty good plant and easy to propagate.<\/span><\/p>\n
